Every so often the lake has some much needed maintenance.  We net it to inspect the fish, also to catch some fish for our breeding pond, which are later returned to the lake.

Siltex is used to improve the quality of the water for the fish also it is a great benefit to the aquatic ecosystem.

We have also added some weed, kindly donated by our neighbour from his pond.
